She's home update

Well a week on and Ru is doing really well considering she is on box rest. Infact she is doing better than her owner! The dressings are now off and here is the result!

they don't look too bad do they!.... You can tell who was the surgeon and who was the intern though!

They are looking good - healing nicely. When do the stitches come out?

next Friday ( the 19th) and tbh I cannot wait. She then swops box rest for small paddock on her own rest for two weeks and then she is back out with her mates! at this point she can start gentle walk work.

i read your other post but what exactly is a laprasc....... cant even spell it!!! looks like they did a tidy job!

it is removal of her ovaries by key hole surgery! it does look rather neat doesn't it
