It's been a very long day 😂

Took 5hrs to get to the breeder from my sister's place due to traffic, 3hrs to get home. Zazu travelled like a pro.

We've explored the house and the garden, had some playtime, nap time and a meal. But oh my god did she scream when we got home. She screamed in the house, in the garden, when she came to me for comfort, when she heard next doors dogs, when she saw her reflection and pretty much every second that she wasn't inhaling to scream again. Thankfully that only lasted a couple of hours. I've put her to bed and she whined/howled for a couple of minutes and then settled.

I know it's because I was/am tired, but I felt like the most awful human being! It's been a huge upheaval for her and I am so glad that I had the sense to take a couple of weeks off work to help her adjust!

How gorgeous is she?!
It’s a massive adjustment for them, leaving their mum and siblings- hopefully shes slept reasonably well tonight and you can both build her confidence together today ❤️

She slept perfectly, whined for a few minutes and then settled. I'd set an alarm for 5:30, but she was up at 5 so we just started our day then. Crate was clean and she waited until we were outside before having a wee ❤

Yesterday she held it for the entire journey and then peed on me as soon as I got her out of the crate 😂

She's tried having a chomp on a few things but has lost interest after she's been asked to let go a couple of times. Give us a few days and we'll be great, definitely just need to settle into a routine!

Yeah those sheps know how to sing 😂 when we picked my old boy up at 8 weeks he howled tiny mini howls all the way home and cried heartbreakingly all night. Then he decided he was over it. The younger one never really bothered and has been house trained by his own volition from day one, but both of them are excellent shouters to this day ‘stop SHOUTING’ is a regularly repeated phrase in this house, and the older one is a full on conversationalist with a variety of different vocalisations. Enjoy, she is really adorable and will bring you so much love! Likely on her terms. 😂

Yay! So glad she’s home and settling in. My bitch (related to yours) was surprisingly quiet on the 6 hour journey home and on her first night … but she’s rarely shut up since 🤣. She voices her opinion on most things 🙈. (She will be 4 years next month).
