So sorry to hear about this, we also once bought a mare who was in foal, despite asking the seller several times if it was possible and being told no. Unfortunately in our case there was no happy out come and the foal died at a month old, despite round the clock care and a vet bill of well over £1000, and this was 14 years ago.

Financially i could keep 4, but timewise and to be honest 'do i really want to' come into it.
