shetland and mini pony clothing

I would be interested too - dinky rugs are quite expensive IMO

I took a gamble on the smallest one in the Robinson's catalogue - 3ft 9" - a tad too big

The above rug is knocking around our tack room, only tried on once, very good condition...

So I am looking for another one, no filling, around 2ft 9" for around £20-£25 if possible??

Oh, welcome to the club which is impossible fitting of rugs!!

Ours takes a 4'6. But he's typical shettie, all neck.

A normal necked rug rubs him to bits. But i found that half neck rugs do a fab job. The best rugs IMO are the Rhino pony range by horseware. here's my kid's ponio wearing his lightweight Rhino: (he's a standard 9.3hh shettie)

Whilst yours are still growing I'd recommend foal rugs.
www.equestrianclearance.co.uk do small rugs at good prices.
I found a rug which fits depth wise (this is always a problem) and ask sellers to measure the depth of any rugs for me before I buy, as an inch or two too deep and they're tripping over them.
www.dinkyrugs.co.uk are good, but more aimed at miniatures. You may well find something which suits though.

I make my own now, got fed up of the prices!! not too bad if you have decent sewing machine. I dont make them and sell them as its just hassle but especially for indoor rugs, only takes hour or so!!

Ebay is quite good also.

That pink pony and rug pic nearly made me fall off me chair!!
