I've been looking for a ridden standard shetland preferably 10.2hh for SO long now!! And in the meantime I've managed to sell my 12.1hh section A so now my cob is on his own, my children are pining and I'm spending every spare minute searching the web for ponies... I've broadened my search area, my budget and my height range but still no luck.

I have a day off work tomorrow and would love to be able to go see one or two ponies - anyone know of any for sale in the North West? I'm near Chester but will travel up to an hour away really....

I was searching earlier this year and paid 1200 for one as couldn't find anything that was suitable for a 3yr old to ride and hack! I have travelled from edinburgh to aberdeen and even been to kent in england! Decent shitlands have the next home lined up usually. I stuck up wanted ad's everywhere and thats how I found mines. He was 2 miles up the road!! Good luck xx
 
Thanks for your replies - just having another scroll through Dragon driving now (I'll be dreaming of shetland ads...).

Whirlwind - no it doesn't have to be purebred at al, I've just struggled to find something around the 10.2hh mark... could you pm me if the pony you know of is around this height? Thank you!
