Where are they hiding? Anyone in the Cheltenham area know any who are looking for a new home with pony mad little girl to love/brush/generally annoy them? I'm serious - I've looked everywhere and cannot find any nearby. All I'm after is a nice little Shettie (or mini, not fussed) who is good with kids and looking for a new home. My 3 year old has resorted to putting a foal headcollar on her rocking horse and "leading it", turning it out in the back yard (comes in at night), and has recently been perfecting her bandaging skills. So please, if you know of a little pony who is in need of a little girl, do let me know! :D

I have a mini shettie i'm trying to rehome...loves attention, waves his front leg as a party piece and is a pleasure to have around...
Much as we like having him around we are busy, he likes being fussed and groomed and will be a lovely pony to 'play' with. Not for sale at the moment as I want to know he's ok, but possibly in the future. Too small for riding but safe to handle. Like taking a grass eating dog for a walk.....
Comes with his own handle....you may call it a forelock but he leads from it ;o)

Sounds lovely! :) If you decide to loan him out or sell him, pm me!

I've got two lovely mini shetlands I can let you have the breeders website if you like she's in Hampshire though.

I have an amazing shetland for sale, but no-one interested because he has sweetitch. It's controllable with his rug and fly-spray, I've never had massive issue with it, AND he has a bitless bridle, never got on with a bit.

The most AMAZING little man with kids, can stand for HOURS being loved, kissed, groomed etc.....

A shame, he just wants someone to have a bit of girly love from, my son outgrew him you see....he is 13 now....pony is 12.

This is us on one of our picnic walks last year! He makes a great pack-horse!

Have you tried any rescue centres? I imagine they would have lots of shetlands.

DragonSlayer - That's such a lovely picture!

Where abouts are you? :D

 I live in Tewks! Woohoo! Thanks for that! Also found a breeder nearby last night on the web, have been seriously looking for ages and this is the first time I've come across them. Go figure!
