I have a saddle I am shipping by courier but what is the best way to send it?

It is bubble wrapped to the max and in a box but should it be tree down on it's end or on it's back........ not sure which way to put it without damaging it.

thanks

My Mum sold one on ebay. She sent it Royal Mail - Bubble wrapped (a lot) then black plastic bag taped all round it. No box used - on Royal Mail's advice. It was sent to Ireland - cost about £12 to send & arrived in perfect condition

I've sent a few. Bubble wrapped especially on pommel and cantle and edges of flaps. Copious amounts of parcel tape. Saddle ends up looking like a chair!

Sent either Parcel Force 48 or RM Standard Parcels - so far so good.
