Just wondered if anyone had an easy net and whether or not you thought they were worth the money. They are apparently easy to fill and the small holes slow down greedy horses.

Thanks :)

That's interesting, thanks for the link. I quite like the concept.

Of course its too expensive, but not as expensive as some of the designer nets.

I have a couple of these, the red and black ones. They hold loads of hay, I think the blue and black ones are smaller though

It took my pony a while to learn not to lose his temper with the net and jerk at it. He quickly calmed down a bit and it does slow down his eating

I dont know how but he has managed to get the drawstring rope out a couple of times and its a right pain in the arse to re-thread it because of the number of loops at the top of the net. some double knots soon sorted that out but he doesnt so that with normal small holed nets

I have these, they were great until the loop came off of two of them :/ i think they are a little pricey for what they are but i would say they are easier to fill. Anything to help fill haynets is a bonus in my eyes! The holes are smaller than your normal haynet which again is a good thing if you want to slow down the rate they munch it in.

Thumbs up from me!

I have one, it is easier to fill but I've lost count of the times I've narrowly missed breaking either my teeth or my glasses on the clip when I'm hanging it! It does not slow my pony down but she is a bona fide glutton, so I double it into another net.

The one thing I have found it invaluable for is feeding haylage outside- the bungee lets me 'tie' the net into a large wooden box for my Shetland to eat at his own height. The bungee adjusts as he eats so there is no loose flappy bits :)
