In that case I'd suggest getting them to come out with a range of saddles, finding one that fits then looking for that make on eBay :)

Hi -

I have a Hi Lite saddle - used as a breaking saddle so my Jeffries wouldn't take a beating. Awful little saddle, as rickety as a bag of bolts. I rode in it a couple of times and I felt horrible!!

I recently (this week) picked up a Walsall dressage saddle secondhand off preloved for £85 not a mark on it. I held out and have been riding my boy bareback for about 2 months, but the deal was worth it. I waited for something in my area and the lady brought it out to me to check the fit was good. I bought a Wintec which didn't fit before that so I had to sell it on - it was GP, 17", adjustable gullet, CAIR, brown and it mint condition and I sold that for £110.

I'd recommend secondhand, something that is quality in good condition shouldn't be too hard to find. Deals are out there, don't loose hope yet!

Which part of Leicesteshire are you in? I know a fab saddler who is Derbyshire based but might come out to you. I'm pretty sure she has a decent range of second hand within your budget too. PM if you prefer?

Try Harriet Haivers the Newark Saddler if she will come out to Leicestershire, she has lots of secondhand saddles in your budget.

I got a thorowgood maxam for 90 and it's my favorite saddle ever. Everyone who rides in it agrees. Mines now too wide and I'm on the look for another!
