Shires Highlander Combo Turnout

Mine doesn't seem to fit cobby well but is better on a slimmer chest horse. Compared to JHL/Mark Todd I think shires come up smaller. JHL 6'3 was too big for mine so I bought a 6ft shires and had to go up to 6'3 and it still doesnt fit him that well and his bum is on show a bit.

Will prob clean it up and sell early next winter and buy him a JHL/Todd/premier equine.

I currently have one in my watched list and was wondering too. Ihave a tempest rug and they seem to get really good comments, are these as good?

I have one in use 24/7 at the moment on a 17.2h middleweight. Mine is 7' and fits very well. If anything it is a generous 7' and plenty deep enough, I am able to put a quilted stable rug underneath it comfortably.

I know that sounds excessive but the horse is on barn/small area rest and is not able to move about much to keep warm.

I paid around £45 for mine and I do think it is a good well made rug for the price.

I like my Shires too. Well horsey does:D Mags is 16.2 TB/Irish and she has a 6ft 9ins which is a good fit and has been very waterproof in this awful weather.

Think I'm a bit late but can't say enough good things about this rug :) doesn't leak even in very heavy rain. Fit is slightly generous but my horse is between sizes so that's more likely why. A very very good rug and excellent value
