Shires Optimus saddle

Has anyone used/got or even seen one? They look fairly nice (in black! not keen on such visible stitching in other colours)
For the price they really rival synthetic. I am looking for a saddle and would love leather really- I've emailed Shires to find out where my local stockist might be but in the meantime!....

I've seen them at BETA, but not on a horse

My only comment was that they had a huge amount of padding, they look very unlike close contact saddles.

I would like to see one on a horse before passing judgement - but the panels did look like massive old fashioned ones.

If you look at the jump:- Look at the gusset on the front panel that would be next to the horse!!

ride away sell them you can hav ethem for a trial period but have to pay in full, but they can be returned.
