Shires Synthetic Saddles?

Has anybody used one? I'm after a really cheap, basic saddle for one of my project ponies (15hh TB mare, quite narrow with not much topline). I've just found one on offer for less than £100, and was wondering whether it would do as a starter saddle for bringing her into work, or whether I should just pay a bit more for a decent quality second hand saddle. Any reviews?
 
Ive had both the leather and synthetic ones for mine and really like them the leather was slightly better quality id say but i use them for my youngster and he seems really happy in it - had saddler out to check all ok for him and said it was a lovely fit - great too as adjustable and comfy to ride in! go for it i reckon !
