I've bought one of these for my Fell pony as they're recommended for horses with a forward girth groove and he prefers one that's lined with fur/sheepskin.
However, I'm having an issue with the shape/fit.
Usually with an anatomical girth, the pointy/rounded bit faces forwards towards the horse's head, however this girth's pointy bit is particularly pointy and and actually sits between his front legs. He seems happy enough, I'm a bit worried about it causing soreness there.
Am I being thick? Is this how its supposed to fit? Have I wasted yet more money on an unsuitable girth??
