Hi,
I have a 19 year old young who has always had a shiver in his hind leg. It has never really affected him (he competed at 2* eventing before i got him) except when picking out his feet and the leg spasms. No problems with farrier. Just recently though - the leg has started spasming (is that a word?!) in walk (and only walk) under saddle. It lasts for about 3 strides and then he returns to normal. He is not otherwise lame. He has had saddle and teeth checked and physio recently and is on the EPSM diet.
Will be speaking to vet this morning but i was wondering whether anyone on here had experiences that could tell me whether this is the progression of the afflication? I am not naive - i know (though it breaks my heart to type it) that this may well be the start of a downwards spiral but any experiences/thoughts welcome...
tHANK YOU!
