Our old girl, China, has just started shivering. The house isnt particularly warm, but I would say it is cold enough for her to be shaking like that - she's led down in the living room with me at the moment. Short of covering her with a blanket, what else can I do to warm her up!? I've never noticed her feel the cold before. She is moulting like crazy at the moment

She may be feeling unwell rather than cold. I have known mine to shiver when they have hurt themselves, or just aren't feeling right. I would be inclined to keep an eye on her this afternoon and perhaps have a word with your vet this evening if she is still shivering. Is she otherwise alright in herself, keen to go for a walk, eating okay etc?

Well she seems ok - although she's not the most active of girlies! She did play ball for a little bit this morning, and seemed fine then. She's fast asleep snoring now, and doesnt seem to be shivering at the moment, so will just keep an eye on her I think! She's old before her time, bless her
