I was looking at maybe purchasing some simular to these (not these too expensive for me)

Basically have always since I began riding (I think thats when it started) have has very clicky knees and they tend to ache a bit sometimes. Have been to see my GP who said she just thinks it's because of me riding. Do you think this type of thing would help at all???

ETS also can anyone reccommend a slightly cheaper alternative

i have a pair of flexy stirrup and they have made the world of difference to my knees. I suffer with dislocating knees and find that if i ride for a long time in ordinary stirrup i get really bad knees, i have once torn all ligaments in my knee like this. Mine were cheap (about £20) from olympia a couple of years ago

I find mine make a big difference, but I didn't actually notice until I used my old normal stirrups for a ride! Mine are Sprengers though, not sure if the cheaper ones are any good.

I bought some from Derby House and they are great, each side of the stirrup is like a bicycle chain covered in rubber and swivel front and back and help to absorb movement. My other horse has peacock irons and they are not so comfy.

I've got the sprenger ones on my jump saddle and normal ones on my dressage saddle. I can't say I particulary noticed a difference using them, however when I rode purely in my dressage saddle, as Pidge couldn't jump, for two months I did notice a difference in that my legs hurt. So yes IMO they do make a difference
