I have a 4 year old collie x that i picked up from rescue centre as a 4month old.
A few months back we took him to a vet because his breath smelled, you knew he was in the room by the smell. He had an infection in a back tooth, and they said the smell was food that got trapped. they gave antibiotics and booked him in to have it removed.
Took him in and they looked and said antibiotics had cleared it up and they weren't taking tooth out, but they warned it could happen again.
Couple of weeks ago, his breath smelled bad again so he was seen by the vet last week and today he went in for the op.
They removed NINE teeth!! I cannot believe a four year old dog having such bad teeth, they have told me I will have to clean his teeth every day, my poor poor boy
