And the actual shoeing itself must be pretty horrific, looks like they are just taking pot shots with the hammer.

I'm sure the horse will live...but what an inefficient way to do things!
That took 5 or 6 men how long? What a waste of time and energy - far better to train the horse to be shod normally.

that was horrible, it was the one kneeling on his neck and shoving its head down was the worst for me. Bet that was a really well done job too, didn't look too precise to me the way he was whacking the shoe.

If the horse is so wild - why are they shoeing it behind? Sigh, poor horse and well done those 'heroes' who are making that that horse so frightened he will probably never ever be able to be shod. Typical male braveado (sp)

What a load of tosh. The guy on his head was using excessive force anyway, looks like he was twisting his ear too at the last time. Bet he wont be keen to let them do that again.
