Farrier came this pm and this evening Molly is crippled on one of her fronts, he is coming back tomorrow to look at it. However this happened when she was shod the time before last - on the same foot. Is this a coincidence or could she have a problem or are we just unlucky?

Edit: Last time he took the shoe off and put it back on again and she was fine.

He refitted the shoe and she was fine the next day which may have happened anyway if it was too tight.

I agree, however you should keep an eye out for abcesses too, if she was sound soon after then definatly nailbind, she prob has quite thin feet and is sensitive, perhaps letting him know prior to him shoeing her next time could help the problem
