My silly mare has pulled off a grand total of four shoes since we moved yards about three weeks ago so I've decided to try her without any as she clearly thinks she doesn't need them
I've been feeding her for hoof condition for the past eight months and they do look like they will cope without shoes. We don't do any roadwork now so not worried about that.
The farrier is coming next week to take them off but what should I expect? Any top tips? And I will of course take pictures to record progress
