History - 8 year old section D, owned for approx 2 years, always shod in front, unshod behind.
Currently in restricted work due to minor check ligament injury in the summer so thought I'd take the plunge whilst shoes aren't really necessary and see how he copes.
Diet-wise currently on Alfa-A & C&C, Alfa will be changed later this week (as soon as I can get to feed shop), and will see how we go from there.

Would like opinions please, didn't manage to get any before's with the shoes on unfortunately.

Sorry, I didn't thinkl to take any of hinds as nothing has changed with them, although I'm sure they'd give a better allround picture.

They look good strong hooves to me. It will be interesting to see how they look when the ripples on the front hooves have grown out.

Feet look quite nice with great frogs.

My concern would be that your farrier/trimmer is taking off sole as it looks very white and clean.

I would ask him/her to leave the sole alone completely as it will wear perfectly well by itself and become polished and beautiful when your horse is ready to shed off old sole.

If you see a ridge of sole being formed around the frog, this is because your horse needs it as extra protection under the coffin bone during transition. Don't let your farrier/trimmer take that off as the ridge will disappear all by itself when it's no longer needed.
