My horse has decided he likes to pick his buckets up which then tips the feed on the floor which he can’t possibly then eat! We have gone through 2 corner mangers, he has broken both of them, he has broken a hook over manger.
I want to buy a non tip bucket but can only find two, the Aquaterra Non Tip Feed Bowl and the non tip feeder. The non tip feeder looks too big for the stable.
Are there any others on the market of does anyone have one of the above?

If he's messing around with it, throwing it on the floor and then refusing to eat it, is there a chance he doesn't need the feed/ isn't hungry?

However to answer your question, this 'might' solve the problem. We used one those deep flexi feedbucket things, a bit like this - https://www.hyperdrug.co.uk/TubTrug-Flexible-Small-14L/productinfo/TUBTRSML/
We wedged it into a small tyre so it was hard to pick up and throw around.

He is a princess, once on the floor he will the put his head out and neigh at me that it’s on the floor. I’ve tried leaving it, most will be there in the morning. If I go and make another feed and hold it he eats the lot.
He had a tyre previously that he thought was great fun to paw at and move around his bed. Sadly he is a thug with toys and isn’t happy until it’s moved!

:D Haha, you have to wonder what they're thinking sometimes don't you - "Mum... my food is on the floor... I have no idea how it got there but it's ruined now". But yeah, in that case I'm out of ideas, that worked for our bucket tipper.

Good luck. TGMs suggestion looks pretty good. Anything that is low and hard to grab seems like a good bet. A bit like a cat / dog food bowl but horse sized.

Give him a play ball and his feed in a dose type ball? He can kick it about all he likes.

If you read my comments he still plays with the tyre

I’ve seen horses move them - but they don’t tip them. Very hard to do when you can’t get purchase on the inside! But you know him better than we do :)

Bucket in a tyre, with something heavy weighting the inside of the tyre, like sandbags or bricks. Worked great for mine when she was obsessed with pawing at her dinner and throwing it everywhere. She did scoot the tyre around at first, but once I added the bricks, she couldn't :)

Tubtrug with a big heavy stone or brick in the bottom. Will do two things - weight it down and also give him something to play with slowing down his food intake.
OR just give him no more than a cupful of food with any supplements, he'll soon learn not to waste what little he gets
