I'm looking for a good book with some basic horse terms in English for a Spanish Student of mine to give as a present.
She's been amazingly helpful by introducing me to a yard, by acting as an interpreter (despite her own poor English) and she's hugely interested in learning English words for horsey terms.
I've had a quick look online but everything seems a bit patronising for a 15 year old or has too many words for her to be able to read.
I really just want something that tells her the colours, parts of the horse and tack, food terms, that kinda stuff.

Any good ideas?

Perhaps Dorling Kindersley (publisher) have something suitable?
All their books tend to be (IMO) beautifully produced, informative and have lots of pictures.

What about this one (for adults, I think):

If there's too much language there, maybe one of the ones aimed at a younger age group?

Lovely of you to say thanks - I like the idea of the book :)
