Hi, Does anyone know who makes a good quality London Tan / Tobacco bridle that isn't too orange. I need it to go with an older, slightly faded butet gold saddle but can't seem to find one. I did see a very nice Tolga bridle in approximately the right colour but I can't seem to find a stockist in the UK. To make matters worse, it is to go on a fairly bright chestnut with a lot of white. Any ideas? Links would also be great as I am a complete luddite and the only person on this forum who can't use google!

Many thanks, afraid I only have diet coke and asparagus pasta salad on offer.

Whats your budget? I only ask as Dy'on do some very nice Tobacco type bridles but arent cheap. Although they may be a bit dark?

I have seen a few Mark Todd that seem that sort of colour and Prestige bridges seem to be a lighter Tobacco colour than their saddles.

Seen this in the flesh and its a very nice bridle

Just Goggled Tolga and they look a bit more orange that what I was looking at. My friend had one similar which was a Treadstone, nice enough but not something I would put on a ginger!:D

This is the best i can find so Stubben might be worth a look

Wow vam, thanks very much. Budget up to about £200 I guess, this is the kind of saddle I am hoping to put it with but I think the knee rolls on mine are slightly lighter. Do they mellow with age or is there an equivalent quite mellow beigey colour you can get in a bridle as some do seem to look quite orange in the photos, which isn't ideal for a ginger!! Or should I just go for ordinary havana - would that look too dark with that saddle???

Zaldi do two tan colours for their tack:

You can find bridles for sale on the same site.

Thanks J1ffy, I think the avellana might go quite well, does anyone know if they are more orangey or more mellowy (and therefore more suitable for gingers)

What are people's opinions of this?? http://www.webshop.viva-iberica.com/deluxe-english-leather-single-bridle-192-p.asp

the proper tan one i saw never really changed colour, just looked older if you know what i mean and not in a good. Mind you the person who had it didnt really look after or clean it which didnt help. I would imagine it most would get darker.

I cant really help as mine still wears a black bridle with a Tobacco saddle as i wont buy another, luckily the saddle is fairly dark and my butt covers most of it but the stud girth is noticably different! :o

I personally would go with a nice, well made bridle that suits in a slightly lightler havana than go with something that is a bit to orange.

This might work
