Shopping help - lycra under rugs!

I'm still on the search for something light I can use as an under rug so that I can easily wash them and keep the inside of the rug clean. I've tried the snuggy hoods petticoat but it was far too tight around the neck, so I think lycra is looking like the best option - but the snuggy hoods one is soooo expensive!

I just want a body rug - I'd consider one with a neck but I definitely don't want one with a head piece!

Any recommendations?

Sorry, no recommendations but just to say I also found the Snuggy Petticoat much too tight round the neck!

Love my Snuggy lycra rugs, they are a godsend in the winter, my pony virtually lives in his, they wash up like brand new every time, I have one that is a different make that is all bobbly and not as good quality

They do have them on offer from time to time so worth keeping your eye out and registering for their newsletter

They dont look very generous on the neck but they do sit higher than the petticoat so the neck is fine once the rug is on

WelshRuby, glad it wasn't just me! everyone raves about them so I was starting to think I had an odd-shaped horse

WelshD, thanks We've got a lycra shoulder bib from a different manufacturer and I'm happy the lycra versions stretch as much as they need to, so I'll keep an eye out for offers.

My only advice is to google whichever seller you decide to go with - or search on here and look at the most recent threads on them. There are some with decidedly iffy customer service.

Definitely, Jemima - I'm hopeful I've heard about which to steer clear of!
