Exactly 18 hours and 8 minutes until Jayjay arrives!

So, of course, I had to nip down to the "local" tack shop and spend my savings on all sorts of useless crepe for him!

I went to the mall, too, and to the field, because it was a tip. In fact, it's still a tip, but a safe one. There was tangly electric tape everywhere, and pieces of wood with nails sticking out!

But seveal hours and two pints of mud assured that the precious fluffball would be safe and sound.

Anyways, the tack shop visit was a little dissapointing, because I'd rooted out all of these matching things, but they were all in different sizes.

I found:

-A lovely burgundy numnah with a matching burgundy and red striped PC browband. That they didn't have in his size ¬_¬

- A dark green and blue medium weight turnout rug (he's 5"9 and very wide, so this was difficult) a dark green headcollar, haynet and bucket.

I bought:

- Two thingies of Happy Hoof (reccomended)
- The green haynet and bucket
- Garlic Granules
- Mane and tail conditioner
- A saddle stand
- A broom
- A flourescent pink feed scoop
- Guinea pig food (you should see my pigglies - they do NOT need more food! :P)
- The burgundy numnah

All gawjus and prettyful.

He comes with a very old saddle (we'll have to get a new one done proffesionally when he's slimmed down a bit), and a friend of the owner is selling us a brand new bridle she had made for him when she had him on loan. It's lovely, a bit chunky, but it does suit him. He allready has a medium rug (it's a bit torn), but he'll need a light one soon, so we decided to wait until Pinkers has all the "jazzy new coloured ones" in stock. I'm a bit worried. My mum had put a purple FLOWERY stable rug into the basket until I convinced her that we didn't really need one yet.

Anyone know an internet site that sells those ribbon browbands?
