He is coming on so well at the moment!
For the past couple of weeks my instructor has been working on walk-canter-walk with him to really get him using his haunches.
He has now just about sorted out where all of his legs should go, and in what order, so we are starting to see some really clean transitions, with a proper jump up into canter. Similarly, we are really starting to get a crisp down ward transition to walk with a shift in seat/weight.
In fact his canter is coming on so well, that he will now go on either leg, and is really balanced in counter canter.
The best thing though... he is looking so happy in his work at the moment. Makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside <3
