A friend of mine is having a 13 year old 14.3 horse on loan for 8 weeks in the summer while the owner is on holiday. She does not want to take this horse on without insurance but the horse is not insured by the owner. She has third party liability insurance for herself but no cover whatsoever for the horse.
Does anyone know if there is any way of taking out short term insurance and any companies which would offer it?
