Hi. Does anyone know of anywhere around the filey area who does weekend/mid week grazing livery? We want to take our horses away with us for a short break in spring/early summer, we have somewhere to stay in Filey but need grass livery and parking for large 7.5t box.

if you haven't already booked filey you could try "thirley banks cottages " just north of scarborough, lovely place terrific riding over the moors and in the forests ,not to far to filey beach in the box . we have had 3 lovely horse holidays there .Find T. B. C. on facebook

Thanks. Do they have a website? I have a friend who lets caravans in Filey so we have access to his whenever we want to head up that area but we're willing to consider somewhere with accommodation as well.

look on facebook " thirley banks cottages" and their website www.thirleybankscottages.co.uk they do mini 3 day breaks or longer .you can ride on the roads for 2 hours and only see a couple of cars-no rat runs of traffic . 1/2 mile to one forest , 1 mile to another , glorious 8 mile ride across the moors and back along a farm track , miles of off road bridleways ,linking together with minimal roadwork .get a view from google earth.
