Any other raw meat and bones feeders finding it hard to get meaty lamb bones (thoracic cage)?
My usual supplier, landywoods hasn't given me any for a couple of months now and dogs aren't impressed!
I contacted Scott who I buy from now and again (the dogfood company) he is having trouble too, he said that Saudi is importing lambs from the UK whole instead of being boned, hence the shortage, is anyone else having trouble getting them?
I'll have to go and buy some trade packs of pork ribs from costco instead
 
Just finished my lamb breast from Scott and due to order next week. I must say, I couldn't find any lamb bones at all in Morrisons the other week.

I hit jackpot this morning in Morrisons,got 2 lots but even in Morrisons over the last month we haven't managed to get any. We are there at 8.25 am just as they open every week so it's not as though we are there late when they have all gone, I ask at the butcher's counter if there's none on the shelves and answer these days is no.
 
My butcher (farm shop, breed their own lamb) said they aren't selling as much at the moment as it is end of season, so I am waiting for the new season lamb to come in so people start buying and eating more and I can get free bones again!
