Hiya all!!
Well, we've all made it to the shortest day YAY!!!!! From now the days start getting longer which is a nice thought to hold on to even if you can't really see the evidence of it happening!!
However, in my house, either this has brought on daft man syndrome or its the excitement of xmas sending the men in my life doolally!
I was not a happy buuny this morning when I tried to leave the house at 6.30 to do the horses (7 miles away) to find my yard keys missing. A short terse phonecall revealed the answer..... my hubby had taken them to work with him (too many miles in the opposite direction). So all I could do was go to see the neds, count them, pat them .... and go home again.
Today was going to be the first day in months I had the time to do something with all four, owing to the fact that my boss is looking after my son. And of course, when I tried to get hold of him, he'd gone out with said son and left his mobile at home.
Turns out he went to the yard, so I could have got him to unlock, had a lovely day playing ponies and dropped keys back to him later. So now I have to go back to yard at 2 to do all the cruddy jobs that shoud have been done by 8am and will have no time / light to do anything fun!!!!! Bah humbug!!!!
Men are so rubbish! (except the ones on here, who are horsey and have more common sense than average common or garden type men!!!!!!)
Rant about men over!
Chin up, its the shortest day!!!!
Biscuits and hot choc to all who put up with me this far!!!
