Ordered some lovely breeches in an offer they done 3 weeks ago! £79 down to £10, I chose the one set they had in my size they weren't checked! but cover the £5 postage I ordered a new feed bucket and nose band too!

they took my money and I had to keep chasing for an update! some girl on their fb page msg'd to tell me that they were out of stock of my breeches so I could choose any pare I wanted! so I asked for a list of what they actually had in stock so I didn't have to waste my time looking at what isn't actually available! and told them to send me any COLOUR feed bucket!!

So 2 days later I get a msg saying my orders been dispatched? no list of breeches so I could make a choice, just a note to say what they'd sent! their website wasn't working so I couldn't see what they were!

they've not arrived and guess what, they are CHECKED!! I hate checked breeches, they are so unflattering for people with fat legs!!

and the bucket!!!!!! well they've sent me a massive rubber water bucket, that is good for nothing! I can't feed my horse in that! GERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

If I'd had not been able to get what I wanted I'd have asked for a refund, now I had a loads of TOSH that I don't want or need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Don't give up on the rubber water bucket too easily, they are fab. They last for ever because they don't crack in the cold. They are also fiendishly expensive.
 
Return it for a full refund. I dont know why anyone buys from DH anymore. Its sad as they used to be perfectly good but from reviews on here, they seem to have gone seriously downhill. I would never order from them now!
 
Theyve been really good to me recently, ordered about 15 items in the sale last week and all have arrived early this week! Definitely on the way up again!

I only ordered coz a friend got some boots in an offer and they arrived in 2 days! I must be really unlucky, every time I've ordered its been weeks and weeks before delivery
 
I too got sucked in by their 3 for £60 offer- I ordered a full neck combo rug, a black leather padded and raised bridle and a leather head collar (always useful to have spares...) all the items said in stock and ready for dispatch, as I was a little anxious about ordering from them- I haven't had problems but know lots that have!!

So two weeks later my item still said 'order being processed' !!
I went onto their FB page and started moaning saying why did I bother and if items weren't on their way by the weekend I would be ringing for a refund. Low and behold they messaged me asking for web order details etc, and surprise surprise my order arrived two days later.

I don't see why you have to make such a fuss to get them to do what they're supposed to in the first place!!!

I'd get onto fB and start moaning- they will soon do something about it as its bad publicity
 
I used to love Derby House. It wasn't that far from us.
Liked it better when it was in Parbold.
Things seemed to start to go wrong for them when they moved to Wrightington

I did get on FB and moaned, which is why I've received the S**t that I don't want! I don't see how they can put stuff in a sale that they don't actually have in stock!!!

I don't mind waiting if I'm going to get what I want! but to wait and for different stuff to arrive is what annoys me the most!

Shysmum, I'm not sure, there's nothing on their website to say that they are, and I thought they had to advertise that fact? think they've gone internet only now? either way, I did pay on a credit card so I had something to fall back on just in case they went into Admin before the stuff arrived!
 
my order was 13th!! I kept commenting on their FB posts then they contacted me! so suggest you do the same! good luck though! you'll probably end up with a light weight full neck turn out in its place haha, judging by my experience

I'm sorry if something similar has been mentioned before but I have recently had a lot of difficulty with Derby House . They haven't sent me the goods I have ordered or refunded the money that they have debited from my account. I have noticed on social media that my complaint is very common! I am wanting to raise awareness of this and create an area where people can share complaints and unite - the reason for this is to achieve strength in numbers and then deliver a large complaint to trading standards and their governing body.

I have been advised to create a group on Facebook and ask people to join. So please, if you have experienced similar issues, join https://www.facebook.com/groups/464587416983491/

Also, if you have any better ideas, I am happy to help implement them!
