My brilliant lorry, which NEVER lets me down, has a flat tyre. And I don't have a jack big enough to do it.

So I borrowed a stock trailer - almost brand new - and my Disco doesn't like it and won't play. None of the trailer lights work. Well, I know they do, but not when it's hooked up to the Disco.

*screams and stamps feet*

Nowhere to hire a trailer within an hours drive, and so far I haven't found anyone who I can ask to collect for me.

Stable is all ready, but no-one to put in it. Stupid lorry.

Feel a bit better now I've ranted though, apologies if you've got this far

I'm about 12 miles out of Oswestry, out in the sticks on the side of a Welsh mountain. I'm going to the pub tonight to "network" and see if anyone can help me... I hope so, I just want to get the baby home, then I have an excuse to post lots of pictures

Oh funny! I grew up over that way, we lived the other side of Oswestry but I learnt to ride on the welsh side, some great riding out there! Unfortunately I don't know anyone horsey there any more though.

dont you have breakdown cover ? and if you dont why not call a local recovery agent that do commercials and they will come out and change your wheel or pump up the flat one also you may find your disco is covered on your breakdown cover for its electrics

Yes, I do have breakdown cover! Didn't, but took it out when I renewed last time. I shall ring them tomorrow morning
