Should I change my saddle???

At the moment I ride my horse in an 18 inch Albion Legend saddle, it's a lovely saddle but I don't feel that secure in it. My horse has a tendancy to whip round at times when hacking out and the fact it doesn't really have much of a knee roll doesn't help me to stay in the saddle! I just feel really loose and it feels like my legs aren't in the correct position. My new instructor says the saddle is too big for me and that's that's why I don't feel secure, he suggests I change it to a smaller saddle and something straighter cut as I show him but one with knee rolls.

Has anyone any recommendations of a saddle that fits this criteria?

sounds like a very big saddle. the best thing to do would be to get a good local saddler to come out with a big choice so you can try them. one or two will just feel perfect for you, but it really is a case of trial and error, very difficult to advise as we're all different sizes and shapes.
fwiw i have 2 Ideal saddles which are blissfully comfy and very secure. you should get decent money for your Albion 2nd hand.

i assume its a legend gp?

by contrast i have an albion legend 5000 dressage with suede seat & knee , lovely deep secure seat & good knee blocks but not too obtrusive , sits me a a nice secure position on my big loose moving warmblood , but sadly he has outgrown it
