i know its still summer, but her winter coat is coming through and i intend to clip her out all year after next winter anyway. she lives out now but will stay in when i go back to uni in sept. her winter coat is coming through and im really struggling to make her look tidy for shows. she currently has her legs and beard clipped and was full clipped all winter. opinions please, cheers

Why not if you rug her appropriately? She will also need a fly rug for any hot weather has biting nasties can get at there skin much more easily.

I do not see why not. I have kept a number of horse clipped out all year round and as cm2581 says; as long as you have the correct rugs it should not be an issue.

By the amount of clipper blades we currently get in for sharpening it would appear that you are not the only one that is giving your horse an early clip. As above, as long as you fug her properly you can do what you want.
