Have been told that there is a childrens hunt with my local hunt next week and really want to go :) My horse is expereinced (went hunting with the Quorn quite a few times with old owner) and old owner said she was well mannered and v good :) However i have never been and am not sure what horse will be like as she can be very lively and am worried about brakes.

i took her on a sponsered ride last year and although she was very good whenever she saw other horses in the distance she started jogging around and wanting to canter off but when she couldnt see them she was fine :) I took her in a pelham and TBH it didnt really seem to make much effect when we were galloping although once she had worn herself out a bit she was better :)

So would you say it is worth taking her or not? I`m just worried it will blow her brains  One minute i`m thinking sod it i`ll just go and i wont know till i try but the other half doesnt want to blow her brains  Also any suggestions for a bit? Thanks sorry for the essay :o

Can you contact old owner to see what they hunted her in?
My horse can be silly when it spots others in the distance on a ride but is prefect out hunting.
Take her and see, you can always come home if she is getting wound up.
