Hi all
i bought a Sprenger kk ultra loose ring snaffle with the lozenge -cant remember the size...I got this in mind for my lippi when hes grown up and can use a big boy bit
now my welsh d is ridden in a H/M mullen pelham with two reins he seemed to like it...but he had his teeth done 14th march 2013 - which hadnt been done for two years due to issues with devil children etc... so obviously my brakes were a bit iffy!!
But i took him out thursday and he was really 'funny' with bit headtossing/snatching etc and my brakes were crap!!
I was thinking maybe now his teeth have been done he might not like his bit anymore..so i thought maybe i would try the sprenger on him...good idea or not ??? i can take him up the bridle way directly opposite so theres only the farmers crops that are in danger if my brakes fail...
What'd'ya think??? Silly idea going from a stong bit to a mild one???
Any ideas ??
