Hi,
I have recently asked my parents if I could part loan a pony and am looking for a few more ways to convince them! Dollar is a 13.2hh cremello appaloosa I have been riding for about a year, he jumps amazingly, doesn't refuse and does pretty good flat work however neither parents are very keen on him because he does have a few vices. For example he sometimes spins and bucks to my instructor and sometimes just before a jump he will do the occasional buck, but those are just high spirits.
I have never fallen off him and trust him with all my heart, but he is also unfriendly to other ponies and is a bit dodge in group lessons due to his past, before the riding stables. They do not trust him but I do and I am really hoping to part loan, especially since his previous loaner asked me if I would because she knew how much I loved him!
Any advice on persuading would be much appreciated, Thanks!
