Me and my Mum have 2 horses, Mums horse Caffrey and my horse Badger.

My mum is a dedicated twice a week hunting person. due to work and other stuff I'm lucky to get out once a week. so Caff goes twice a week and mum worries about him getting tired and then worries about Badger not being fit enough!

So the sensible thing would be for mum to take Badger a bit?? He's a lot bigger and quicker than her horse but is very safe. She is reluctant because she thinks he'll be too much for her, although she's fine hacking and has been on hunt rides with him.

I think if talked her into it she would give it a go, but i'm a bit worried incase she's right and he scares her to death!!

what do you think??

Good thinking!! Even if she only sits on him for an hour and then we swap back (I do like my horse!)

Thanks, might swap for a bit tomorrow!

Well, we were going to do as you suggested, mum said she would get on him after a little while.... good blummin job because we slapped it in a bog after the first little wall!! :p We took that as a sign mum shouldn't have a go today!! That and he was covered in mud and she didn't want to get her jods dirty! :p

She seemed up for having a go on another day though... :)
