Should I plait up for hound exercise?

no, just make sure need and tidy. i put a hood on the horse the night before i took it cubbing to settle his mane down and make it all lay as it is really crazy and wanted him to look smart!!!

im not very au fait with hunting but i would plait up just in case! I'd rather feel a bit overdressed than turn up unplaited and everyone else is plaited up!

See its all this getting dressed up like a waiter and your horse like you are doing GP dressage which puts me off hunting. If there was a "come as you are" hunt around here, I'd have a pop.

Deffo do NOT plait until Opening Meet - it is just not done! And if your horse isn't clipped then leave mane natural and wear ratcatcher even after OM.
