Hi,
I've got some little liveryman harmony clippers and i have had them coming up 2 years, i have done about 2 trace clips and 4 belly and neck clips with them.

Should i replace the blades or have them sharpened and where do i send them to be serviced??

thanks for reading, i appreciate it!

I have an old pair I bought second hand which I haven't had serviced, they were cheap so will used them till they break

I use clippersharp for my sharpening and really good turnaround times and service. They do servicing.

I have a couple of sets of blades one was new last year, not sure how old the others are as they came with a couple of years ago but have them sharpened and they still cut well. both have all their teeth.

they did 2 blanket clips the first year, last year they did 2 neck bellies, 4 blankets and a full clip.(5 of those on one pone!) trouble is I can't remember if I sent for sharpening after last clip!

I wrote long reply then it timed out grr.

I use clippersharp in devon, v good service for sharpening but never had my cheap second hand clippers serviced cos they were so cheap!

ok, thankyou, i think i'll just replace or sharpen the blades and i'll ring around for servicing,

thanks for your help!

I came on here a while back asking the same question and was told Clippersharp, I duly sent them off and couldnt fault the service, the guy even rang me at work and told me Id been clipping with too much tension which doesnt suit my particular breed of clippers, I paid for a service and some oil and had them back the next day, think they were gone for a week. Brilliant!
