Vet came out this week to look at itchy foaly, Ive never been so happy to hear one of my horses has lice! As none of the insectacidal stuff i used on here seemed to work, i really was worried she had sweet itch or something. Hes given me some stuff to treat her and the mare with and is coming back in two weeks... However One of the people that was interested in buying her asked the vet to check her heart and she has a slight murmer on her left side. Vet said she has a regular beat, and its nothing to worry about, she may even have grown out of it by the time shes weaned but understandabley this has put pretty much everyone that has been interested in her off buying. I'm not interested in making any money on her, as when i bought the mare i didnt even know she was in foal. Even if i do sell her for the origional asking price there is still no way i will cover whats already been spent. All i care about is a nice home for her and am starting to think i should just give her away if the good and knowledgable home wanted her, but am worried if i advertise her for free people will think she has all kinds of problems. I just want a nice home for her when she is weaned so i can start bringing my mare back into work, as im really missing being able to ride this summer

What a dileama you have! Poor you.

Why don't you let us know what type of horse she will make, there maybe someone on here that could help you?

I wouldn't advertise her as free - you never know where she will end up - In France on a dinner plate!

Hope it works out for you x.

Thats exactly what im worried about, If i could afford it I'd keep her myself as shes such a sweetie. Due to the fact I dont know anything about the sire other than mare was covered in holland, Im not really sure... She has tons of bone and vet has estimated she will make around 15 hands, but its obviously very hard to say as we know nothing about her

I just wish the perfect home would come along, snap her up and allow me to visit all the time! ... Annoyingly enough, it never seems to work like that
