i dare say it will be fine. at the end of the day unless your staff your not alone out hunting. but iots impoortant that you have control in open spaces and obv brakes because some horses and riders dont take kind toi having a pony running up there arse.

Is this the same pony that does handstand type bucks when you canter? If so, I would suggest you sort that little problem first!
If you are very likely to come off then you are not going to enjoy the day!

Yuup!

She only does it sometimes in an unpredictable way:L But I have never taken my pony out with just anotha pony on their own cantering so she might be fine in that way.....

You just cant really tell with her

But yes it definately needs to be sorted out!

You're welcome. Just remember not to get to close to other horse's arses, for your safety and the other peoples. if you're going to follow another horse then try and pick another pony, otherwise you could find yourself following the big horses over a 4foot fence! Maybe try and find another person your age who's also at the meet and you can go round together. Hope you enjoy it.

No of course you don't! You don't have to jump anything if you don't want to, there'll always be the option to go through a gate. Go with your friend and have fun on your pony. Oh to be young again..!

If you want to hunt alone then I'd recommend attempting to take her out on light hacks until she get's used to the idea that there's gonna be no company until you start doing no limit hunting.

However, if you arrange a group of friends with ponies or her kind then go for it!

See how it turns out and let us know! :)
