Ever since the ban, seemingly every few days a new poll on hunting has come out. Every time, hunters squeal in unison and rush off to register hundreds of votes each, they "win" the poll and shout in triumph and... absolutely nothing happens. Then another poll is started and they do it all over again, and again, and again. Bizarre.

I think it is quite refreshing to read the comments from people who are not pro hunting but still think it a stupid law.

zigzagzig, surely that is just what the anits did, except for FAR longer than pro hunters have been doing it? anits have been fighting against us for centuries, and only now have they got what they want, due to a wrecked country, a parliment who is not concentrating on our country, instead how many votes that it is getting, and 2 priministers who are both as bad as each other, one was not even voted into parliment....

The hunt ban will never be repealed. the next step is to ban hunts from accidentally chasing wildlife http://www.powa.org.uk/build.html

This will secure far more prosecutions

How exactly?

Tell me how your "reckless" clause will work?

The Hunting Act makes it illegal to hunt a wild mammal with a dog.

We have footage of dogs chasing foxes but cannot prove that the hunter was hunting the fox. The imminent amendment will remove the requirement for the hunter to be hunting for him to be guilty.

So if we are not hunting we are guilty?

Sounds very well thought out !

How is the new law actually going to be worded?
