Should you soak hi-fibre cubes?

I use fast fibre which is great and i'm amazed at how much it grows. My friend uses spillers hi-fibre cubes. She soaked some and we were astounded with how much they swelled up.

Should hi-fibre cubes be soaked?
 
Yes they can be soaked :) if you have a veteran etc, cubes are a useful alternative if you don't have any bran mash about when something seems a bit colicy too, which I didn't realise. A livery at the yard is a vet nurse and said they use soaked cubes as many horses aren't keen on bran mash
 
They can be soaked if you have a oldie with limited teeth, I sometimes put hot water on mine to make a mash instead of bran mash, my horse loves it. But you don't HAVE to soak them

Thats a good point, I always think bran is a shock to the system and doesn't have much nutritional value
