Hi,

My dear little 2 year old pony has just been diagnosed with shoulder dysplasia and secondary arthritis in the joint.
I am absolutely devastated.
We have brought her home and we are going to manage her as best as possible and give her the best life that we can, whilst we can.

Has anyone else had any experience of this condition? She is a miniature Shetland pony.

I am finding it very hard to get my head around but want to stay "positive" so that i can help her as much as possible.

I know this is a very old post but I have the same problem with my little rescue shetland and I am wondering what was the outcome with yours? What were you able to do for her?
