Would like views on the best shoulder saver please. Like the look of Bossy Bibs who have been around for years, but not cheap. Am considering Snuggy hoods bib or even petticoat. Then there's the Mark Todd. Choices choices. Need three so want value for money, but not at the expense of quality and longevity. I expect my stuff to last, but does that always mean going for the most expensive?

My bossy bibs have lasted well, however the big lad managed to tear his across the wither area and I've twice repaired it. It was very easy to repair so it wasn't a big dal for me and I would buy them again. They work well and wash fine. When I bought mine they were the market leader so there may well be better ones about now. If you need three you could buy one of each and do a trial to see which is best and let us know!

I've no complaints about my bossy bib - it does the job and washes well. The neck (mine has one) slides back a little but not so it pinches (it's only me that fusses & pulls it back up!). But then I've never had another shoulder or mane guard to compare it to...

The snuggy peticoats are very useful as they are much quicker to put on, there is nothing sitting under the girth line for extended periods (ive not had a vest rub yet admittedly but the potential is there) and also they keep much of the inside of a rug clean. They are also so easily washed and dry in minutes

Shires bibs - had one for four years now and it's only just starting to wear a little on the withers. He wore that one every day almost the first year as it was the only one I had. Good value for money in my eyes.

I use a Roma padded bib. Cheap as chips, has lasted four years so far and looks good as new when washed. I think it only cost me about £15!!!!
