Has anyone used the shoulders back support or something similar. I'm suffering from upper back pain between my shoulders and I know I need to improve my posture.

Do they work? And best place to buy?

Definatley work! i bought mine off ebay, got a padded one so the straps didn't cut into me, its a bit bulky but quite comfy to wear, only had to use it for 5 days and the pain across my shoulders and neck went! i had been in pain for weeks before and was even contemplating going to the docs(which i never do) as it was that bad, did some research on the internet and a few websites pointed out about posture and wearing a brace so thought i would try it.

It makes u think about your posture all the time whilst wearing it, i used mine for driving and also whilst sat at my desk at work, and a few times whilst riding, another couple of tips if you suffer from upper back and neck pain is to lower your chair if you work at a computer as i was looking down all the time and didn't realise how much strain this was putting on my neck, also tilter my rearview mirror up whilst driving to help keep lifting my head up and these 2 little things improved my posture also. hope this helps

I've had one for ages and find it quite useful. I got mine at Hickstead from Hope Valley Saddlery if that's any help?

that's great advice thanks. I work at a computer for the most part of the day and i know its the main cause for my bad posture! Affects my riding as im always tipping forward finding it hard to keep my shoulders back then my balance goes askew:(
