Show any way to calm nerves before you go in?

People always say 'breathe'. But when you try to do that, you may just be gulping in air and holding your breath which won't help! So instead focus on breathing out - slow and steady - instead. Works for me.

Also proper preparation and knowing where you're meant to be and when - and allowing a little extra time in case of scr3w-ups - and you'll be fine.

Good luck!

rescue remedy..... down it :D lol!

or vodka? if your driving go for the above ^

Get drunk...you really won't care then.

I've been schowing and competing all my life and still feel sick every time. Feel great after though so all worth it.

Try and think about it being an experience rather than winning. Just have fun. Makes the nerves a little better.

Make sure you park near the loos!!!!!!:D

Rescue remedy is brilliant stuff, you can get it from boots but I have found you need more than what it says on the bottle.

I'd see how you feel on the day you might get there and realise your fine. Best of luck, hope you have a good time. :)

yep i had to take rescue remedy when i did my first dressage test! i was SO nervous! lol! i think the more you do it the less you feel nervous!
