I bought my lovely cob last year and she hasalways been hogged and trimmed but as the types of Show Cobs are changing to more heavier small hunter types I was wondering if she would be better of as a traditional.
This is a picture I took of her today looking a bit wild and in between both.
What do you think, Show Cob or Traditional? ;D

She looks to me as though either might work - it's amazing what a bit of feather can do to enhance bone and she's got a good head for either. Depends if you want to stop the trimming. Bear in mind that if you go traditional, you'll never have any fingernails as long manes and feathers cut them off like cheesewire!

On a practical level hogged and clipped is better to keep awful feather mites at bay if its an issue for this pretty girl. I love to see them either way just love cobs so she will be beautiful either way.
